Foreman – Production (19-107)
Pay Rate: $18.27 to $24.40
Days per Week: 4-6
Shift: Nights/5PM-5AM

Academic Qualifications Required-

Must be able to read, write & speak English and perform basic math. Requires a high school diploma or GED. Requires passing the Basic Skills Assessment for Plant Foreman with a score of 80% and passing the Mechanical Aptitude Test (WTMA) with a score of 70%. Post high school education is preferred, especially in a technical field such as engineering, electronics or electrical.

Experience Required-

Requires a minimum of three years experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.Juice or beverage packaging experience preferred. Experience in a similar leadership role such as Supervisor or Foreman is preferred.


Requires proficiency with computer applications (Word, Excel, Valiant, RFX, Reliant, TribForce). Must have good communication skills, both oral and written. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work on several projects simultaneously, prioritizing work for self and others. Requires the ability to ensure compliance with OSHA, and other regulatory agencies. This job has leadership responsibilities. This position requires monitoring & training of employees in immediate area of assignment, and in other areas of the Frozen Business Unit, if necessary, for coverage. Must have the ability to operate, maintain and clean all production/packaging equipment. Must be able to execute all positions in order to cover for breaks or absences as needed. Must be team oriented. Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally.

Essential Job Functions-

Actively promote and participate in a team-based work environment. Help plan and organize daily production activities to meet the needs of the business unit. Monitor and review all required production paperwork. Maintain Attendance Logbook.Develop and administer procedures (SOP’s, SSOP’s, HAACP and GMP’s). Effectively present information and respond to questions from management, teams and hourly employees. Provide training and guidance to team members and set necessary priorities. Provide leadership to Maintenance Mechanics and Operators. Facilitate change as directed. Evaluate team performance and provide feedback. Explain and interpret guidelines and policies to the team. Practice “Walk the Talk” principles by holding yourself accountable and following FNG’s Core Values and Leadership Expectations.

Regular attendance required. Must interact cordially with co-workers.

Additional Job Duties-

Essential Job Functions continued: Instill and support safety programs and awareness. Encourage and give positive recognition. Build and strengthen relationships within the team. Perform any other duties assigned. MSSC, CQIA and Lean Bronze credentials are preferred. Candidate will have to pass the Acidified Foods certification before the end of their introductory period.
