The current responsibilities of the position include dispatching the orders, scheduling the load times, preparing the pre-load paper work, ensuring that all customer shipments are scheduled with a Carrier and completing the post loading paperwork. In addition, this person is responsible for scheduling, coordination, and shipping of overseas containers from the Lakeland warehouse. Also, this person would be a back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor and the Raw Material Coordinator. Coordinate the scheduling and execution of multiple modes of shipments at the EPCD Lakeland plant. Work with Production Scheduler, Warehouse Supervisor, Customer Service Representatives and Supply Chain Manager to ensure orders are shipped In Full and On Time. Must communicate effectively with all related parties described above and must proactively manage or escalate all exceptions or problems that arise to Supply Chain Manager. Ensures compliance with all Corporate and DOT policies and procedures. Helps identify areas of improvement and potential cost saving projects. Helps investigate and provide corrective actions for all logistics-related incidents. Oversee the scheduling and shipment of the overseas containers from the Lakeland warehouse. Back-up the Warehouse Supervisor and Raw Material Coordinator vacations. Perform hourly payroll input/processing on a bi-weekly basis.

Schedule trailers for bulk customer shipments from the Lakeland Plant.
Coordinates export shipments from the Lakeland plant.
Back-up the Warehouse Supervisor and Raw Material Coordinator.
Perform the bi-weekly payroll process.
Coordinate hourly pay increases at the appropriate time.
Update work schedule’s in SAP
Oversee the site’s Document Control process
Inventories Office, Break Room and Conference Room Supplies and orders them when they are below minimum inventory levels.
Maintains Main Office Building Supply Storage Room.
Maintains DOT certification to ship Hazardous Materials.
Creates shipping documents (Delivery Note, Verification Checklist and Bill of Lading) through SAP.
Ensures shipments meet DOT requirements (Shipping Papers accurate and complete, Placarding, Labeling, Package Closure, etc.).
Performs Document Control for Quality Management System.
Uses Structure Problem Solving (A3’s, Fishbone, 5-Why) to determine root cause analysis.
Reports all Supply Chain issues to Supply Chain Manager.
Miscellaneous Human Resource and EHS Duties that include, but are not limited to the following: drug and alcohol screening coordination, safety glasses and safety shoe forms and spreadsheet, coordinate maintenance/support of Ricoh copiers, maintain personnel and medical files
End of month reports: attendance, safety hours, work permits, contractor hours, recognition, and vacation.
Participate on teams and committees.
Assist with other tasks and projects as they arise, including general administrative duties and coordination of on-site meals for meetings as needed.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
Associate or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or other related field
Experience with customer service, imports/exports, multiple shipping modes and SAP preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
