Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading electrical/electronic equipment in an industrial environment. The individual will also be responsible for troubleshooting, making permanent repairs and preventative maintenance to plant equipment.

Repairs complex electrical equipment, including automated machines, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers and communication systems.

Job Requirements:
-Knowledge and understanding of the following: Hydraulics, Pneumatic and Combustion Control Systems.
-Interprets blueprints and electrical diagrams.
-Must be able to work on multiple projects with minimum supervision.

Education & Experience:
-Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience working in an industrial environment as an electrician.
-Certified through either a Trade School or a Technical Institute.
-The experience of Allen-Bradley PLC’s and understanding of ladder logic is a plus.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
