Responsible for maintaining the irrigation systems and lawn equipment at Westgate Vacation Villas and Towers.
Responsible for checking and repairing irrigation systems.
Repairs and adjust irrigation clocks, water pipes, sprinkler heads and daily checks of pump stations.
Responsible for maintaining a detailed inventory of all irrigation related parts and equipment
Making equipment repairs to mowers and all small powered equipment.
Must be very thorough on all written reports and work orders.
Programming and monitoring watering schedules for all areas at Westgate Vacation Villas and Towers.
Will do extra watering of plants and turf when needed.
This job directly supervises the Irrigation Assistant.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
